Orange Cyanotype Print

$24.00
Paper size:
8" x 10"
11" x 17"

This print is made from a cyanotype I made under my orange trees while I was remembering what it felt like to creatively play and rest from ceramic making. During this time I also tried pastels, watercolor, film photography, and writing poetry.

I hope this blue and white print reminds you about the time you have spent under the trees, resting, remembering, and recentering.  Its made from the light of the sun which I find incredibly beautiful in its metaphor.

These are limited editions of 50.

The Meet Me Under The Orange Tree Prints are only available in two sizes, an 8x10 printed on archival paper and an 11x 17.

When I am Among the Trees

Mary Oliver
When I am among the trees,
especially the willows and the honey locust,
equally the beech, the oaks and the pines,
they give off such hints of gladness.
I would almost say that they save me, and daily.

I am so distant from the hope of myself,
in which I have goodness, and discernment,
and never hurry through the world
but walk slowly, and bow often.

Around me the trees stir in their leaves
and call out, “Stay awhile.”
The light flows from their branches.

And they call again, “It's simple,” they say,
“and you too have come
into the world to do this, to go easy, to be filled
with light, and to shine.”
